Awaken performs factory inspections of all product prior to shipment, to ensure all specifications are met.
What Is A Product Inspection
Being a key element of quality control, product inspections allows us to verify product quality on site at different stages of the production process and prior to its dispatch. Inspecting all product before it leaves the factory is an effective way of preventing quality problems and supply chain disruptions further down the line.
Awaken’s independent, certified and licensed inspectors check all product and packaging against detailed specifications to meet a range of requirements including passing UL and ETL standards. With the use of comprehensive, statistically weighted inspection checklists, key quality concerns are verified with details of any aberration immediately communicated to us prior to delivery.
Photos – Every Step Of The Way
Awaken receives, verifies and catalogs photos from every step of the transaction – including manufacturing, packaging, inspection, crating, pick up by transportation, receipt from transportation, etc. This eliminates any surprises, and ensures the right product, with the right specifications, arrive in the right condition at the right place.
Extensive Ongoing Audit Program
Awaken’s independent auditors visit our manufacturing facilities to analyze the manufacturing capacities, quality management system, structural safety, social compliance or environmental impact.
Commitment To Quality
Awaken’s auditors and inspectors are trained a minimum of 100 hours per year and managed by quality control and auditing specialists to ensure compliance with international standards ISO9000 and SA8000.
Pre-Shipment Inspection Report Overview
Every shipment is released only after the release of a successful, pre- shipment inspection report, with a pass/no pass result, an overview of key findings, and a detailed report of the inspection results. These reports include clear images showing all inspection points, for Awaken to see exactly what was discovered.
Statistical Significance
All inspections include comprehensive testing criteria on every mission critical aspect of functionality, performance, durability, overall performance, and dimension. All tests are performed using the internationally recognized ANSI/ASQC Z1.4 (ISO 2859-1) statistical sampling method.
